American Idol Final Judgment to The Final 24 Part 1

American Idol 2012 Final Judgment - Final 24American Idol is now in the business of cutting heads with their Final Judgment. Tonight was Part 1.This is one of the toughest things that the judges have to endure. It really is hard when the talent pool is so deep.

Jen Hirsh

The show began by putting Jen Hirsh was voted through to the Final 24 but it took forever for the judges to tell her she made it. Randy Jackson really held the suspense. It was such a long delay that Steven Tyler asked him “Did you really have to string it out so long?”

Creighton Fraker

Then they moved onto Creighton Fraker who was adopted as a child and was also a Preacher’s son. His real life Dad was a a rock-n-roller as he played in an 80′s band. Creighton also made it through to the next round. His real life Father was there to greet him when he got the good news.

Lauren Gray

Lauren Gray unfortunately was voted off the show. That just goes to show you how much talent is on American Idol this year when a singer as talented as Lauren Gray does not make it. This was pretty much because she had lost her confidence and did not believe in herself. This was even though the judges had fallen in love with her.

Joshua Ledet

Joshua Ledet is a soulful singer that was also a Preacher’s son. Ledet is on to the next round to compete and in my opinion, he has a chance to win the whole thing.

Haley Johnson

Haley Johnson also move on. The cute blonde has the pipes and was excited to hear her name as one of the Top 24.

Elise Testone

Elise Testone (what a cool name) has a style all her own. Her vocals are strong and she has a lot of range. The judges gave her the good news that she will also be a contestant on american Idol.

Reed Grimm

Reed Grimm is really one of my favorites for some reason. This guy has a whacky side about him but his exuberant attitude is infectious. He is really talented and has the chance to capture America’s heart. Oh yeah, by the way, he made it! He’s moving on.

Erika Van Pelt

Erika Van Pelt  was walking on eggshells as she came to the stage as she took the criticism but the judges want to take another chance on her and gave her the go ahead to the Final 24.

Chelsea Sorrell

Chelsea Sorrell – I like this girl but she may have been given a pass form the judges after she had messed up in one of her performances. In fact, it was really bad. Be that as it may, Chelsea is moving on to the next round. Don’t get me wrong, she has potential. So maybe she will get it together and impress the whole country.

Baylie Brown

Baylie Brown also made it to the next round. Her eyes are mesmerizing. They are just incredible. To me she seemed a little cocky as if she knew she was going onto the next round. I kind of like that in a performer. You have to have that sort of thing to be able to perform on stage in front of millions.

HeeJun Han

This Asian guy finally got his wish. He got to hug Jennifer Lopez as he was voted to move on to the next round. You could tell this guy really was appreciative as he was sobbing as he left the presence of the judges. So be prepared to see  HeeJun Han making a name for himself even though his looks seemed to be discussed.

Jessica Sanchez

Here is a girl that has performed all of her life. She said that her Mom is actually unemployed because of her music career. Jessica Sanchez said that he wants American idol so bad and that she wants to be able to support her family. She was crying in front of the judges out of fear but those soon became tears of joy as J-Lo asked here”Will you join our Top 24?” So yes Jessica, you are in!

Phillip Phillips

Phillip Phillips is the cat that is currently working in a pawn shop for his Dad. To me he sounds a little like Dave Mathews with his style of play and the way his voice can get into the raspy tones. Phillips said he felt alright about his performance and that either way he felt fine. If he goes home that is O.K. and if he makes it to the top 24 that would be even better. Then Jennifer Lopez told him that he was not going home but onto the next round.

Colton Dixon

What a miracle story Colton Dixon is who was not even going to audition but was at american Idol to support his sister. Then the judges brought him in to sing. He did not want to audition because he was voted off last year. However, this year, Colton is moving on to the Top 24.

Brielle Von Hugel

Alrighty then. If Brielle Von Hugel does not win american Idol, she should get the award for the coolest name on American Idol 2012. This girl can really sing. Don’t think so, just check out her performing “Killing Me Softly” -  Do I really need to say it? You know she made it!

Adam Brock

To me, I think  Adam Brock has a lot of potential. He took a lot of criticism from the judges on his last audition. His version of Georgia in one of his recent auditions really has set this guy as a person that can give all the other contestants a run for their money. So with mixed reviews the show ended by Randy Jackson telling Adam Brock that “Our decision for you is definitely is not unanimous …..but….it is what it is, you know the majority always rules…..this is the moment, the moment of truth” and then the show ended leaving all of the country in suspense.

Are you kidding me? Wow, talk about drawing something out. Well American Idol certainly has done it this year. I bet the ratings will go through the roof for American Idol tomorrow night as the decision for Adam Brock’s singing career hangs in the balance.

I’m sooooooo disappointed in American Idol for voting off Lauren Gray. I still can’t understand why they voted off the most talented singer this season for many more who are far less talented. I’m not watching anymore Idol shows.

I feel your pain Joe. I too feel this was a great injustice. I was pretty ticked when the public voted Pia Tuscano off last year and she was the favorite to win Idol! Believe it or not, that is why this website began. It was because of that night.

Thanks for posting. I hope you will still watch though.
