One performance following the ousting of Holly Cavanaugh, Joshua Ledet was voted off American Idol and found out that it may not be a Man’s World. This is that there is a more likely chance that Jessica Sanchez probably has the bets chance of winning Idol. This is especially true after Steven Tyler said she would probably be the last one standing when it was all said and done.

Was The Voting Off Of Joshua Ledet Racially Based?

So is the removal of Joshua Ledet from American Idol racial? Is there some kind of bias in the american voters? If it is based on race, one could say that Jessica Sanchez would not be there based on her ethnic background.

So to say that Ledet’s demise from the show is racial just may be over the top.

Ledet certainly had the pipes. He was probably the most dynamic singer of the whole competition. This is not to get confused with the best entertainer as many would argue that Skylar Laine could hold that title for American Idol 2012.

After Ledet received so many standing ovations, you would think he would have at least made it to the finals. Were the judges try to cram Ledet down the throats of the American public?

The Sixteen Year Old vs The Pawn Shop Worker

Now there is only two left and Jessica Sanchez will have her hands full going up against the Dave Mathews style singer, Phillip Phillips. By the way, the humbleness that Phillips showed when he visited his hometown this past week was overwhelming. What passion and appreciation he showed as he was riding in the parade. It was incredible.

So you have a sixteen year old going up against a pawn shop worker that cannot sing a melody? I heard someone say this today. Is that a fair statement?

Absolutely not.

First of all, Sanchez was favored to win American Idol from the start. She may have been saved by the judges but that was probably a glitch in the voting numbers. She deserves to be in the finals.

As strong as I think Sanchez is and even Ledet who has just been sent packing, I would probably be more inclined to purchase a record from Phillip Phillips. To me he is pure artistry at work. Plus I like Dave Mathews style. He has done things his way the entire season and he as well deserves to be in the finals.

Joshua Ledet Performs “This Is A Man’s World” For His Exit Song

Joshua Ledet sang This Is A Man’s World as his exit song. He hugged the judges as he was singing and even went into the crowd to bring his Mother onstage at the very end. That was really cool. Can you imagine how his Mother must have felt being able to share that experience with him even though he had just been voted off Idol? That had to be special to her. That was really admirable of him to do.

So where will this lead to? Who knows. It’s a crap shoot. Does Joshua Ledet deserve to be in the finals? You could say that he does and I could not argue with you at all. But I do not think it was racial. I would love to hear what you think.

Is Jennifer Lopez 50 Years Old?

This is a power packed final four on American Idol. The judges made great statements about just has strong this talent pool is this year. After receiving a Standing “O” from the judges, Joshua Ledet was told by Jennifer Lopez that she has not seen a singer like him for 50 years. Is she trying to tell us that she is 50 years old? Did anyone else catch that?

Ledet was told many other compliments as well as he stood before the judges. Some of the statements were unbelievable. However, Ledet deserves praise for giving it his all each week and providing lots of entertainment each week on the Idol stage.

Holly Cavanaugh The Dark Horse To Win American Idol

In my opinion, Holly Cavanaugh is the dark horse to win American Idol this year. It seems that she is just behind the other performers in popularity. She has a great voice that is super strong and her personality is adorable. She is no pushover however, as she brings it each week. I personally like Cavanaugh and would have no problems if she won Idol. Be that as it may, I do not think she will win this year.

Phillip Phillips And His Uniqueness Could Make Him The Next American Idol

There has never been a contestant on American Idol like Phillip Phillips. No one has even close to what he has done this year. When Tommy Hilfiger told Phillips to dress a certain way, he refused and wore what he was comfortable in. If someone told Phillip to play a song a certain way, he would do it his way no matter what any mentor had to say.

Phillip Phillips even had to endure through a surgical procedure on the show but it did not slow him down. All though the contest, he has done things his way. The only person I can think that has been as liberal about doing things their own way was last year when Casey Abrams added his own unique style to songs.

I’ve said it before and I will say it again, Phillip Phillips has a style that parallels Dave Mathews. Will this hurt or help his chances?

Is Jessica Sanchez Still the One to Beat On American Idol?

Did getting voted off on american Idol help Jessica Sanchez? Or would you say that has hurt her chances to win? It’s a valid question as she had to eat some humble pie and would have gone home if the judges had not stepped in and cast their only “SAVE VOTE” of the year. Sanchez. without a doubt has an incredible voice. Even though she is only 16 years old, she can step up to the mic (no pun intended), and give it her all. It’s insane that she can already sing so well and she is still a teenager. She still has room to grow as an artist.

Sanchez was also the odds on favorite at the beginning of the year to win Idol. Her vocals dominated everyone early on until the later weeks when personal styles were able to shine and share some of the top dawg spotlight.

I cannot predict the future as to who will win. I do hope that many will vote here to gather some sort of idea of who is in the running to win American Idol out of the Final Four contestants.

Well there is bad news tonight for Skylar Laine fans tonight. Tonight Skylar was sent home home on American Idol. This is sad news for people that truly like entertainment.In my opinion, american Idol will not be the same without her.

Skylar Laine Was The Best Performer Of This Season On American Idol

I’m sure there are some that would disagree with me but I bet there are not many when I say that Skylar Laine was the bets performer of this year’s american Idol. This girl has personality and is a true performer. Skylar’s energy has been unmatched this whole season on Idol.

There have been some great performances by the other contestants this year but Laine has consistently been the most rock solid performer during the 2012 season. Skylar Laine just has so much energy. I feel that it has been unmatched.

Now Skyler can relax and get back to her Southern Roots of riding a four-wheeler back in Mississippi. She is truly a Southern Girl and proud of it.I have a feeling though that Skylar Laine has a bright future in front of her. Hopefully there will be a record deal in the works for her and she will not be forgotten.

The Final Four Of American Idol

The Final Four of American Idol now consists of Jessica Sanchez who was the front runner for the early part of the season until she was voted off by America only to be saved by Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson. If they would not have stepped in and saved Sanchez, she would have been toast.The judges made the right decision though as it would have been a crime to let Jessica Sanchez go home.

Then there is Phillip Phillips that was accused last night of not singing the melodies of songs. Phillips has a unique style that he has not been shy about presenting this whole year on Idol. A lot of people see Phillips as a Dave Mathews type of entertainer and I see how and why they think that way. Phillip reminds me of Mathews almost every time I hear him sing.

Joshua Ledet has really come on strong lately and last night received a standing ovation from the judges. Some may think that Jessica Sanchez has the strongest voice of the season but Ledet very well could contend for this honor. His vocals are incredible and he can hit some high notes. Some may argue if he can sing as high or well as past male performers such as James Durbin or Adam Lambert but that would be slipping hairs.

Little Holly Cavanaugh was also in the bottom tonight and she was standing right beside Skylar Laine as Skylar heard the news about her departure from the show. You could see the queasiness between the tow girls waiting on the decision. Cavanaugh also has a great voice and to sing it from such a petite little body, is incredible. This little girl may have a mixed British accent but she has no problem communicating to the judges or the audience when she sings. She has been in the bottom for two weeks in a row which makes her an easy target to be voted off next week.

It’s anyone’s contest to win this year. American Idol really does have a lot of talent and it is showing as it gets harder to pick who performed better or who performed worse.  Any of the remaining singers can win American Idol. All the bets to Skylar Laine. Thanks for entertaining us this year.

It’s the end of the line for Colton Dixon this year on American Idol. Colton was a little too cocky last night when he received constructive criticism from the judges. He was back stage when he told the cameras “I may be cocky but I don’t care“.

I bet he cares now.

In fact when Dixon got the news that he would be leaving Idol he told the judges that he was not himself last night and apologized to the judges telling them he would apply what they told him to the future records he would make as a professional.

Colton Dixon was a miracle this year for American Idol. He was not even going to audition until the judges told his sister to go and get him to audition for them. The reason Colton was not going to audition was because he had tired out last year for Idol and did not make it.

This year was different as Colton made it deep into the finals.

He performed well on the show and had many followers. He had great stage presence and is a talented musician. Colton’s artistic values really shined this year on the show and he was an asset to Idol.

If he just would have been a little more humble I think America would have been all for him but I think they got a little turned off and maybe even sickened by his attitude.

It doesn’t help that the judges criticized Colton Dixon pretty good either.

Good luck Colton. You went far on American Idol.

Tonight was an unusual night for Jessica Sanchez because she was voted off American Idol. This is new territory for Sanchez as she has been the odds on favorite to win Idol pretty much since the 2012 season has begun.

Everyone was shocked tonight just to see Jessica Sanchez in the bottom three of American Idol. When the announcement came that she was the one that America voted off, shear terror struck the stage. In fact, all three singers in the bottom three tonight was a shock to Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson.

Who would have thought that after Elise Testone’s performance last night, that she would be in the bottom 3 of American Idol? Who would have thought that Joshua would be in the bottom rung as well?

Not me. that’s for sure.

When the news came that Sanchez would be going home, the look on the face of Jennifer Lopez said it all. You could literally see the stress on J-Lo’s face.

She was not a happy camper.

So Jessica Sanchez had to sing to impress the judges to stay on the show. That was short lived as all three of the judges got up from their chairs in the middle of Jessica’s performance and went up on stage and stopped her. They said no way was she going home. In fact Jennifer Lopez said “This is Crazy!”

They gave Sanchez so much support and rightfully so. That girl can sing. Not just sing but she can perform.

Nights like tonight are what brings people out to say that American Idol is Rigged.

One thing to remember though. Last year Pia Tuscano was the Las Vegas favorite to win American Idol and she was voted off the show. Just to let you know, she was one of my favorites too. In fact, her getting voted off is the reason I started this website.

Well this should get things buzzing about American Idol. The question is though, will Jessica Sanchez be able to come back and win American Idol after being America’s choice to go home?

Tonight, Haley Reinhart will perform live on American Idol. She was in the crowd on last night’s show when Ryan Seacrest spoke to her. She was sitting next to her parents to what looked top be the front row.

During the converstaion, Reinhart stated she would be performing tonight on Idol.

I, for one am excited about Haley Reinhart performing again on AI. She very well could have won last year as she made into the top three only to be upset by falling short to Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery.

Also she was one of my favorites. She has a strong voice and the looks to go with it to propel her to Idol status in the music world.

Last night on American Idol, Philip Phillips sang his heart out on stage. Just that Philip Phillips was even on stage was a miracle. As shown in the auditions, Phillips at the auditions said he had to undergo kidney stone surgery just a few days ago.

Phillips performance was one of the best of the night as the judges stated after his performance. He really has a chance to win the whole thing this year as he is one of the most talented musicians on Idol.

It did not look like the kidney stones had any effect on him at all. He was full of energy and control the stage with his dynamic Joe Cocker style.

Keep your eye on Philip Phillips as he just may surprise a lot of people and take home the American Idol trophy for 2012.

I think the judges got it wrong about the criticism of Jessica Sanchez on American Idol.

When I say the judges got it wrong, I think they really got it wrong! Last night, on American Idol, all of the judges criticized Jessica Sanchez for her performance on stage.

When I heard that comments of the judges I was shocked!

In fact, after the show was over I went back and watch the recording just to see if what they were saying was correct.

I did not see it or hear it what the judges did.

The judges were saying that Sanchez had some issues with rhythm and timing but how could that be the case? Granted I am not an award-winning singer like Steven Tyler or Jennifer Lopez but they really missed the boat with their comments.

To me this is nothing more than American idol trying to level the playing field. I do not believe at all that Jessica Sanchez deserves the criticism that she received last night. It was almost like the judges wanted to find something to talk about and try to pick it apart so that the other contestants on the show would not be demoralized by the complete domination that Jessica Sanchez has been putting on them.

I have some favorites like Philip Phillips and Hollie Cavanagh. Nevertheless, I cannot discount Jessica Sanchez’s talent level at the age of 16.

Because of the comments of last night, this is why a lot of people think that American Idol is rigged.

Tonight we will get the results and we will see who’s been voted off Idol. The judges last night said that while Hejun Han deserved to go home. Well they hit the nail on the head with that one.

Hejun Han sang a song by Richard Marx and it sounded like he had been running in a triathlon for hours when he got up to sing. That is how much breath there was going through the microphone when he sang. It was a terrible performance and in my opinion he was by far the worst performer of the night.

So stay tuned tonight and find out who gets voted off American Idol. If it happens to be Jessica Sanchez, you can blame Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez, and Randy Jackson for it.

In Wednesday’s performance, Jessica Sanchez received a standing ovation as she stood head and shoulders above the others in American Idol as she continues to dominate the other contestants.

Songs too tough for contestants on American Idol

I was disappointed o see some of the performances last night on American Idol. They singers soon found out just how hard it is to follow in the footsteps as such great artists as Stevie Wonder and Whitney Houston.

Time after time the contestants had trouble staying in pitch or keeping the timing of some of the difficult songs that Stevie and Whitney made famous.

There was no doubt about it. Last night really exposed some weaknesses of some of the performers.

Other standouts of American Idol

In my opinion (and it’s only an opinion), the only other performers that stood out to me last night were Phillip Phillips and Hollie Cavanagh . They both had really good performances. I feel that Cavanagh was right up there with Sanchez as far as performances go. She took the advice of Mary J. Blige and Jimmy Iovine and had a flawless performance. I’m a big fan of Phillips but last night I felt he was third best.

Jessica Sanchez is still the favorite to win American Idol

There is no doubt about it. With back to back performances like Sanchez has put on, she is the frontrunner to win American Idol. There is no mistaken her talent. When a singer can belt out a Whitney Houston song like she did, you know she is good. She is the favorite to win Idol and it shows. She is the one to target to knock off but don’t get too confident that she will be around to the end. Just remember that Pia Tuscano was voted off and she was the frontrunner to win American Idol as well.

Las Vegas odds makers have selected Phillip Phillips, Elise Testone and Jessica Sanchez as the most likely to win American Idol. Pinnacle has Jessica Sanchez as the favorite to win American Idol and Bovada has Phillip Phillips favored to win.

Phillip Phillips – son of a pawn shop owner can bring it!

I cannot disagree with these odds at all. Phillip Phillips has that edge about him to be a music icon. Maybe him working in a pawn shop gave him access to some really fine guitars over the years to better prepare himself for his debut on Idol.

Jessica Sanchez gets a Standing “O”

Jessica Sanchez has the very strong vocals. Plus she got the only standing ovation of the night when the Final 24 were battling it out. The remarkable thing is her voice was not as strong as it was supposed to be as she had been ill lately. You could have fooled me.

Elise Testone is another favorite to win American Idol

I really think Elise Testone has the capability and the talent to win American Idol. The public may not always see talent but this girl has musical skills. Somehow she falls into the category with Phillip Phillips being able to play a musical instrument. She is more than just a singer. I can already see her as an artist.
